What you’ll do:

· You will lead project implementations: You will serve as a leadership resource for effective project implementation; clearly articulating the resource needs of the project and working with others to obtain resource commitments; escalating issues when project timeline or scope are at risk. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Coordinates with other project managers to identify cross-project dependencies and constraints.

· You will coordinate: You will solicit input and prepare recommendations for key project-related decisions; demonstrating organizational savvy to meet project deliverables. Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors to enable the execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

· You will manage: You will develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Reports and escalates to management as needed. Gathers the necessary inputs to develop ROI for projects, establishes project and process KPIs, and prepares related analysis prior to, during, and after project completion.

What will make you successful in this role?


· Strong understanding of PIPEDA and applicable laws

. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in deployment process changes supported by software and web technologies.

. Develop, implement and use best practice methodologies and tools, based on PMI standards.

· Strong business acumen and the ability to contribute to value case assessment and project analytics.

· Produce status reports for various levels of team and executive management.

. Mentor Managers and Project Analysts.

. Interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff.

. Review and improve project management office processes, procedures and standards to meet PMI standards and the needs of the organization.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of MS Project, SharePoint or other project management software preferred.

· Experience with lean transformations preferred

. Work closely with the project sponsor and other project managers to define organizational goals, select team members and support the team throughout the implementation.

. Define requirements and measurable goals for the project.

. Prepare project plan, to include scope of work, ownership of the project and definition of team roles.

· Excellent client-facing and team communication skills; experience with large-scale change initiatives.

Other Qualifications Include:

· MBA or MS in Computer Information Sciences or related degree preferred.

· Minimum (5) five years of direct experience managing large projects as a core job responsibility, preferably in a large, multi-divisional and multinational environment. Evidence of successful transformation through disciplined change management.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) or Change Management certification preferred
